Have you ever seen a commercial that has made you laugh, cry,or even made you just the slightest bit mad? Well I have. The technique that was being used Emotional appeal. Emotional appeal is something The commercial above is one that made me laugh. At first I thought it was a commercial for a tablet and then at the end you see it was a commercial for toilet paper. This commercial is funny because the man is yelling at his wife to stop using paper and use electronics and it made her mad, so at the end when he needs toilet paper so she gives him the tablet with a picture of toilet paper on it.
Above is another commercial but this one shows endorsement. Endorsement is when a celebrity or other famous person endorses a product or idea. The strategy makes you want to buy the product or idea.
