                      Divergent By:Veronica Roth

In this book you can follow sixteen year old Beatrice Prior on one adventure that will leave you hanging on the edge of your seat, you will not want to put this book down. Divergent is like Hunger Game in the scene that the main character is a girl who has to make a decision that will decide her friends, her beliefs, and her loyalties. But lets go back further Beatrice is living in Chicago, were it is now split up into five factions, Abnegation- the selfless, Candor- the honest, Dauntless- the brave, Amity- the peaceful, and Erudite- the intelligent. (Beatrice is in Abnegation in the beginning of the book) On a appointed day of every year all of the sixteen year old's meet to pick the faction that they will devote to for the rest of there life's. For   Beatrice the decision is staying with her family or being who she really is-- she can't have both. So she makes a choice that surprises everyone even herself.
During the highly competitive initiation that follows, Beatrice changes her name to Tris and struggles along side her fellow initiates to live out the choice they have made. Together the must undergo extreme physical test of endurance and intelligence physiological simulations, some with devastating consequences. As initiation transforms them all, Tris must who her friends really are -- and where, exactly a romance with a sometimes fascinating, sometimes exasperating boy fits into the life she's chosen. But Tris also has a seceret one she's hidden from everyone because she was told that it can mean death. As she discovers unrest and growing conflict that threaten to unravel her seemingly perfect society, Tris also learns that her secret might help her save the one she loves... or might destroy her.
